GTE Vidar probe

Well the Vidar was supposed to be the GTVA's exploration ship until a crazy fellow named Russik tried to use it for generic GTI conspiracy #2.

You probably wondered just how did it do that exploring bit. Well fitted with a sensor array like a Faustus to discover new sub-space nodes as well as with a probe array, it'll be your new best friend when the real plot in tBE starts to take off.

The above is a probe used by the Vidar to aid in it's exploration operations.

Generic GTI Conspiracy #2 hah!

It was simply an evolution of Generic GTI Conspiracy #1.

hmmmmmmmm, I have that model for FS1, wasn't it one of Dark's?

Posted by Ace on 12-30-2001 05:24 AM:

He did do it a long time ago and it was used in one of my first FS1 campaigns with the Polaris pylons.

A lot of the old FSers probably have it on their hard drives from either the mod pack for it which was released seperately or from the campaign itself.

I am a little surprised though that a few people have it arround after over 3 years.

Anyhow, this little baby is finally being given justice and cleaned up a bit.

Actually an idea of mine was to use it as a guidebot in a nebula Good scripting always wins against poor AI!

Whee! Hehe :)

I'm an old FSer too... since August '98!

Posted by Ace on 01-05-2002 09:49 PM:

Darkness Rising (not the OEM version of FS, a campaign I now consider very cheesy)

It was only in the original download mod pack for the 14 beta missions, the final release did not include it.
