Question?
If you've been waiting for this campaign for awhile, you're moaning and groaning that I'm starting another topic. Too bad. Anyway, my question is, I just got a new computer, and it won't install Freespace 2. It freezes up around 47%, could somebody maybe tell me why it's doing this?

Are you doing a full install (Tech movies etc)? If you are make sure that your cds are clean and don't have many scratches.
Try to pay attention and see whats being installed when it stuffs up. You may have a damaged section on your cd(s) that will prevent the installation of that component.
This happend to me, it would always stuff up when it got around to installing the tech room movies, so I just skipped that bit of the installation.
Just tried it again, now its totally freezing up my computer.
WHY AREN"T YOU WORKING????????????????????????????????

first tell us if your cds are scrathed badly then we can see if its an os problem or cd based.
It sounds like one of those randomn annoying errors. Make sure all your windows drivers are up to date etc.
