what is the finest source on the 'Net for B5 ships?
Does anyone know what the best source of info on B5 ships is? I've been to several webpages looking up pics, drawings, and info on the Primus. Each page seems to have a different measurement for the same ship! Is it 800m, 1200m, or 1500m long?? I'm leaning towards 1200m-1500m. But anyways, does anyone know of a webpage that has ACCURATE info taken from the actual creators of B5 and not just someones imagination?
Try b5tech.com until now it is the only site i found with tons of information about ships and many more topics.
B5tech.com is not 100% accurage. There really isn't such a thing. B5tech is good, but not always right.

My favourite page that no-one can understand says that it's 876 meters. I'm not sure where did they get that from, but in the episode "and now fo a word" it looks just about the same size as a Narn Q'Guan. So that is probably more close to it.
But definitely it's not over 1000 meters.
I think B5Tech.com is best (aside from that Finnish site) but you need to take some of their "facts" with a pinch of salt. If you look at all of the available information, especially all of the videos then anything that still isn't clear is probably not clear for anyone, anywhere

I believe that Primus is longer than 1000 meters when it's measured from bow to stern, including those long antennaes. But the base hull is less than 1000 meters.

Don't forget the long tail!
My calculations based upon ship to ship comparisons on the show:
Overall length: 1600m
Tail length: 540m
Antennae length: 240m
Main hull length: 820m

BTW, those calculations were in conjunction with the following ships at the following lengths:
Omega: 1700m
Nova: 1450m
Olympus: 450m
Starfury: 10m
Thunderbolt: 15m
Sharlin: 1600m
Tinashi: 900m
Nial: 20m
Primus: 1600m
Vorchan: 600m
Sentri: 10m
G'Quan: 1400m
T'Loth: 1050m
Frazi: 15m
Babylon 5: 8500m
Whitestar: 450m

Four Nials?! Isn't that just two (2 , II)?

Oh ****! Those idiots did it.
Please, tell me the episodes with that you are referencing so I can confirm any of this and possibly revise my figures
I appreciate any help in trying to nail down ship sizes, especially with one or two inconsistencies in the show
Is the episode with the Vorchans and Whitestar that you are talking about 'Movements of Fire and Shadow'?

In 'And Now For A Word' The G'Quan is longer than the combined length of the antennae and main hull of the Primus by about 30%. The Vorchan to be honest has been more difficult to identify it's length.
I've just taken a look at 'No Surrender, No Retreat' and you're right, the Whitestar can't be longer than 300m, more like 250m in proportion to the Omega. Also, docking sequences for Starfuries/Thunderbolts in the Omega confirm the width of the "head" of the ship as being 100-150m
