The year 2000 has rolled to a close and so far we haven't been struck by a comet, invaded by aliens, and the Y2K bug turned out to be the single biggest scam in recent history. I would say we fared pretty well overall.

For some its only a few hours away but 2001 is nearly apon us. I seriously doubt if we'll be discoving any black boxes on the moon or sending people to Jupiter ("I know what your doing dave...") but since I will not be around at the turn over, HAPPY NEW YEARS! Hopefully this coming year will be even better than the last.

Year 2000 was a great year for the online community of Freespace 2.

Look at all the campaigns still being worked on. More MODS than ever before, and it seems there are more websites for FS2 than ever before. I believe FS2 will live on in 2001 for the online community.

And thank you Freespace Watch for all you have done for the community.
