Mission Briefing icons

being the idiot perfectionist I am, I tried editing the missions, so that when we click a briefing screen icon, the correct ship's 3d model pops up... but its not that easy... for some reason only certain icons are available to certain ships...its very wierd...if anyone has any success with this...

I dont mind, just that if we make our own TBP mission, we'll have a lot of trouble making the icons and 3d models match.

Something is really funny with the briefing icons to say the least. It's a wild guess, but I think it may have something to do with the ships or interface table. However, I'm more than sure this problem is readily apparent to the TBP team, so I'm sure that unless this is a permanent problem they're either working for a way to fix it or already have a solution in store and just haven't implemented it yet.

See the extras file for a full breakdown of how they work - it is a job, but there is a patter & if you pring the file it's easy!

so FINALLY someone looked into the EXTRAS folder.

And to the rest of you : Before asking us where to install TBP, why briefing icons are so strange , if it is possible to replace Interface screens , why snow turns yellow when you pee on it and if Santa Claus really exists - READ THE README FILES BEFORE FLOODING THE FORUM WITH SILLY QUESTIONS ! WHY DID I INCLUDE THIS TEXT IN THE ARCHIVE BEFORE THE EXTRACTION STARTS ??? WHY ARE ALL THE READMES THERE ? STILL ANYONE HERE WHO WANTS TO KNOW SOMETHING ????

....AND NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO , WE WON'T SHIP OUT SELF-BURNED CDs WITH TBP ON THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!

While Skullars outburst doesn't exactly answer any questions, he has a very serious point. Please read the readme files first. If they are inadequate, we will work to make them so. The same goes for the FAQ as well.
