About mission 1 (don't read if you haven't played it through)

The end of this mission was little suprising. I hadn't played FS2 for along time and didn't remember the right buttons to jump out, so I stayed there for a long time just flying around. What suprised me was that in the end the Sharlin didn't finish the job it came to do. It just jumped out without destroying the other heavy cruiser. Maybe this could be changed so that after a certain time, if the player hasn't jumped out the Sharlin would also destroy the other heavy cruiser?

Hmm...? I played already twice the campaing over and in the first mission right after the Sharlin destroys the other Hyperion the other is jumping right after that.

Well, it seemed to me that certain ships jumped away only when I was near them and jumped away myself. In the first mission the Sharlin jumped in, fried the other Hyperion with its beams and then just floated there. I was ordered to jump away, but I didn't remember the right buttons for it, so I stayed there for a while and the Sharlin just jumped away. All the time the other Hyperion just floated there like the Sharlin, and if I remember correctly, it jumped when I jumped.

Because your supposed to jump. As a mission designer, you can't account for EVERY probability.

This is one I thought I would give people the benefit of the doubt on.

I agree whit Icefire, I found out when i first played the mission. you need to engage your jump drives as soon as command says *Jump now!!* something like that and then the Yorktown also jumpsout whit you...easy

Just have a Sharlin fire beams at you when you didn't jump.
That way you "won't" have the lexury to just sit there and
watch they float.

That's exactly what I meant. If you don't jump when you are ordered the Sharlin should blow you off the sky. It seemed little stupid when the Sharlin just left.

It's one Extra Event command,

When

Destroyed/Departed Delay
15
"ship"

then

Add Goal
"Attacking ship"
Ai Chase
"ship"

I think thats it.
I'll fix it up for ya.
