Multi-player
I saw there was a multi-player rader mission and I was wondering if this has been tested and works.
obviusly it won't keep out stats but I thought it would work, but PXO login fails and it boots me to an empty sever list.

there seems to be a problem with germen vertions, and they forgot the selection icons.

There might be some problems with multiplayer, it is not fully tested and during testing we had some problems here and there that are not mission related. It might very well be that FS2 does not like playing multiplayer games with mods.
If it works, that's good.

it seemed to work prety well there were just no selection icons

I'm going to create a team vs team multiplayer mission this weekend. I will release it after some testing to make sure no major bugs are there
the idea is based around a station installation, with hyperion class docked for repair.
raiders are trying to take the hyperion (team 1) and team 2 (the ea) must defend from the raider attacks
i see it like this at the moment
team 1 =
2 squadrans of zephyrs
2 olympus class capital ships ( both launching a shuttle)
one shuttle heads for the station, a bomb shuttle, the other for the hyperion to take it over.
the main objectives will be to defend the station and hyperion for team 2, or capture/destroy them for team 1
team 2 =
olympus station
1 squad of aurora's
the hyperion will play a part in the mission as well - becoming operational half way though the mission - if this happens the objective for the raiders team is too escape to the jump gate which will be located say about 4 Km away, both olympus will break off there attack (if they are still alive and head for that, the hyperions objective now become to destroy the olympus.
should be an interesting mission i think.
i might convert it to single player as well where alpha 1 is on the raiders team

Sounds good to me. MP-campaing would be nice

I just tested a mp mission with a couple of guys and it worked basically fine. Of course stats didn't get saved but it was generally very fun.
Only problem was the lag. We already know that this mod is much heavier than normal fs2, and in multiplayer it causes horrible pings. It looks like the jumpgate causes a lot of lag so you probably shouldn't put any jumpgates in you mp-missions. Also the hosts should have really fast computers and super-fast connections to make it work properly.
I just finished the Demo and i must say excellent job!This is some real quality work here.Altough the Campaing is short the quality pays back that.
And MP sounds great.Hope to try flying with a Starfury angainst Raiders some time soon.
