Edwin For ship making you need:
-Truespace4.2 for making the wireframe and texturing (its not easy to learn)
-Paint shop pro7 for making textures (it helps if you can chop off parts from a Pre-renderd pic you can get all over the net)
-Kazans Tools for converting the model from truspace to FS2 POF, for giving gun mouts turrets subsystem etc ,easy to use but youll probably need MODELVIEW32 to check the necessary coordinates on the model
-Trueview32 same as kazans tools but has less options but in my opinion is easier and lets you see were you place all the stuff.
For making weapon youll probably need a model, for missiles only, and above tools will work. For energy guns youll need to manipulate the the tables and make some textures In Paint shop pro7
Where can I download the above list? If I have to buy the stuff, Where and how much?
