A login for the TBP Forum

I know that this is an odd poll to do, but what does anyone think about it being easier, if there was a login box on the MOD's forum, instead of going straight to Volitionwatch first?

Maybe there could be a shortcut placed on the main site, asking people if they want to make it the browser's homepage.

Shouldn't it be immediately apparent that this is how this particular forum script works? It sure beats the hell out of UBB's typing in your name and password (even when cookied) EVERY time you post a message.

So instead of one hassle, you'd have several. I'll go with the one.

If you prefer, we could ask fans in the form of a poll, if they would like any OTHER improvements made to the forum, such as dividing the different messages into topics.

This might make it easier overall if we need to find something from a previous message.

This really has nothing to do with preference or opinion. This is how the script functions. This is the way it was written. I have great faith in Remora and Orange's abilities to write scripts and modify them, however, this is not something that would be condusive to time well spent.

You suffer a very minor nusance by loging in once per session. Or if you're doing auto logon, then not at all.

It does not warrant a overhaul of the script, it does not warrant changing the script, and it certainly does not warrant running a separate script on the same server (or even a different one) for the same purpose.

Again, this is totally a non-issue. Its such a minor thing that its barely even worth considering.

As for looging in for one session at a time, I suffer from the unfortunate problem of being at college, and not necessarily being able to log in to the forum. But rest assured I will be on the forum all night fridays to sundays.
