VW Main: Freespace: FPS for Red Faction!

I am pleased to announce the first true joint endeavour of the Red Faction and Freespace communities. Here at Volition Watch, we have been in the planning phases for the past few months of a groundbased Freespace game that will take advantage of the revolutionary GeoMod engine. At this time, our team only consists of Volition Watch staff members, but we plan to expand on this when we launch our site in this next week. We'll have a wide variety of positions available and since we'll be bringing both communities together, we shouldn't have a problem filling it. Just to clear up a few concerns, the Freespace: FPS mod is in fact, NOT, I repeat not a sequel to the Freespace series; it is a game set in a different genre using the Freespace universe.

The story is set a little something like this:
The game will be set in the year 2329 (Year 8 of the Terran-Vasudan war) and you will be an officer in Galactic Terran Intelligence, carrying out assigned objectives and possibly discovering a few nasty secrets in the process that may or may not have a serious impact on humanity depending on your reaction.

More information will be coming about our MOD in the next week when we launch the beautiful new site. However, for now, we leave you with this. Enjoy.
