It's been how many hours since the demo was released? Haha. Anyway, Bobboau has put himself into the Hall Of Red Faction Fanboy Fame by cranking out the first mod for Red Faction. What is it? A nuclear satchel charge, of course. Okay, maybe not nuclear, but it certainly blows an exceptionally large amount of things up. (And I suppose you could argue the semantics of whether or not it's a true "mod" but it does modify the game mechanics, so it does qualify.)

Anyway, if you're interested in the thread at the VBB Bobboau posted, click here since it has instructions as well as a direct link to the download. So, uh, go blow stuff up with an exceptionally powerful explosive charge...and have fun with it.

Oh, yeah.

Don't forget...back away from it before you hit the detonator button. Trust me.

Addition

I just edited the sniper rifle to act like a BMG .50. What's that mean? It means it takes a little longer to reload, but there will be a crater in the wall

PS: Volition needs to tell us how to up the geo-mod count. I tried this with the pistol, and it seems you must create a crater at least a diameter of '1', and you can only create so many craters, period
