Summoner has been listed as one of PlayDate2000's top 15 best selling holiday video games for this upcoming holiday season! And here's some of what it says:

"The lists are compiled by PlayDate Inc., who surveys a very broad selection of toy stores, software stores, specialty stores and online retailers, seeking their predictions for the best selling toys and games for the coming holiday season. (The retailers who participated in the PlayDate 2000 survey included: Amazon.com Toys, Areyougame.com, Babbages/Software Etc., ebworld.com, Electronics Boutique, eToys, FuncoLand, Imaginarium, KB Toys, kbkids.com, Noodle Kidoodle, Toys R Us, toysrus.com, Zany Brainy.) The lists are compared to see which products are named most often, and adjusted with input from PlayDate Inc.'s principals, to reflect changes in product availability or retail success that come to light after the initial lists are made. PlayDate's input consists of validating whether the products named will, in fact, ship in time for the holiday season, and whether the sales results that are observed following the formulation of the lists, but prior to PlayDate 2000, are consistent with the predictions."
