how do you make parts on a ship, like a turret, move on a ship. Example: the fins on the science cruiser in FS2.

You have to specify if it's a rotating subsystem, give it an axis then define the speed of rotation in the .tbl

Wait until you see the big giant rotating thingy on the Golgotha. I don't know how Dark did it, but it's got a hella sweet spin effect.

I'll have to look at how they did that. Of course, from a realism standpoint, it's rather ludicrous the size of the gyros they'd need....The reactor-thingie on the [G] must be pretty frikken weighty.
