yes im trying to figure out how to mod and the one person who doesnt get offende with repeated questions is you Ace... so...
what would you recommend to start modding and do u know of any tutorials or anyone who can teach this... i would ask u but u are currently busy on a project, so help this poor unfortunate non-modder out... and anyone else can add their ideas too

There are plenty of good tutorials on the Vwatch site about working on ship models.

If you're talking about simply editing .tbl files (new weapons, changing ship stats, etc.) get a copy of VPView32, extract the files, and edit them in notepad or MS Word.

Modding is rather easy and fun, modeling... well with Lithunwrap I might be doing some originals soon
