Discussion: Twilight plotline

From playing FreeSpace 2: Twilight, what can you deduce of the Laomedon Conclave's motives? The effects of Kah-Morah's acts in Ikeya? What will happen in the near future within the Antares system?

I sense lots of Shivans on the horizon and beyond the next jump node.

And a conspiracy....conspiracies are always good.

I'm in the same situation as Snipes (which is horrifying in itself, but..)

That's pretty sad Snipes.

Also Wizard might be onto something

hello

i would say, the humans tried to establish an alliance between them and the shivans.
and yeah i would expect a lot of shivans too
the departing armada was really cool and the idea of a artificial inter system jump drive.
how about an expidition to gamma draconis or capella?

"i would say, the humans tried to establish an alliance between them and the shivans.

Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt.

That's too cliche' let's see some good analysis like that fellow who looked at the Greek name "Laomedon" and figured out quite a bit about the Conclave?

There's quite a bit of betrayal left in the King of Thebes...

With regards to the effect of the actions of the Vasudan Admiral in Ikeya.
Quite alot of potential there, I do believe.

It is bound to cause some bad feeling between the two species.
On the Terran side you may have a resurgence in support for the NTF.
On the Vasudan side you may have a group who are highly suspicous of all things Terran.
Maybe Admiral Kah-Morah was a survivor from a GTI sanitisation (Silent Threat FS1).

What is the score with this GTVA Admiral? (Kepler...I think), authorising modifications to ships on one hand, then restricting information to the troops with the other. Sounds suspect to me.

Well, my PC is fixed, so I will attempt to hack...err... play your campaign, and steal... err... use your weaponry to my advantage in DOW... err... Twilight.

Let's just say Kepler's true goals become known in Blackwater Operations

Actually the Laomedon Conclave is what remains of the old GTI rebellion, this will be explained in due time....

Edit: On the Pied Piper theory, it's just the begining of what the LC can truly do with their technologies...

You know what the biggest mystery in Twilight was?

what was the Apollo doing in a modern, post-Capella battlegroup?

the truth is out there.....

Posted by Ace on 05-21-2001 01:10 AM:

The mystery is why Talstavi requested them

Is she just eccentric? Having a few too many Bosch beers? Or does she know something?
