Discussion: GTXF Creon

That's right, many of you by now have probably downloaded the new wallpapper with the GTXF Creon. (based upon a model created by Nukebomb_Overkill)

From the size comparison to other GTVA craft, what do you believe it's capabilities are? Who built it? ...and more importantly why?...

I believe it was built by a poorly underfunded group. It's capable of carrying enough warheads so that very few of these ships can destroy a destroyer.

Since the group had little money, they didn't care about aero(space-o)dynamics, or style, and went instinctively towards the most bang for your buck. The biggest payload a single ship could carry.

...here's a hint:

Look at the hull structure, a honeycomb texture similar to that of Vasudan ships.

Now look at the glow effects, they seem to match those of a Seth or many Vasudan ships.

Bang for the buck, ohh yesss...

A hybrid except with Terran lines rather than Vasudan ones

it looks like its about the same size as a boenarges bomber. though i think i detect a bit of star wars influence in the cockpit design. it is probably similar in capabilities to the boanerges/ursa. i do have to wonder were you got your side veiw of the ursa. also, with that many guns on it, i would say that it would brobably have a similar or only slightly larger paylod to the boanerges while using the extra space for the guns and possibly stronger sheilds. it might also require a fighter excort of its own due to exceptionally poor handling.
