On or around this date, the former Planet FreeSpace was making frantic news posts regarding the gold status of FreeSpace 2. Yes, almost a year ago, we were all eagerly awaiting the release of FreeSpace 2 and the wait was well worth it in retrospect. We've had a great year since and seen many changes throughout the community.

Cheers to the future! There is hope yet!
