B5 Battles
Will it be possible to create the big battles like the battle of Coriana 6?
Semi-large battles yes.
Upto 50 ships.
Ace's Twilight Campaign missions push this limit in quite a few missions. Wait for release of that campaign and you'll see whats possible.
The Vorlon Planetkiller and the Drakh Mothership is between 45-52km long.
How big will they be in the game.

if included they will be to scale......but we're not sure if you'll get close to them...maybe keep them at long distances.....so i believe anyway

Actually Twilight barely pushes what FS2 can actually do. (some of the combat sequences seem large, but have less ships than in a standard FS2 mission at any given time, the small space of the engagement makes it feel larger on purpose)
For a better example, wait for the re-release of Cardinal Spear for FreeSpace. The battle of Talnia gives a *real* sense of scale and intensity. (i.e. multiple cruiser battle groups, etc.) It gives the honest feel of the Battle at Endor, while not suffering from BaE syndrome.
