Some Textures,
hi,
I found these when I was looking for painting referance for my StarFury model (plactic) that I built, about 1 1/2 ago, as far as I know these can be used to texture models, http://www.starshipmodeler.com/b5/bc_rs.jpg http://www.starshipmodeler.com/b5/cpitfram.jpg http://www.starshipmodeler.com/b5/sf_tp.jpg This is just some, of the many that I can get.

thanks fatality but i found this site months ago....we have a better resources now....we have lots of the textures...they just need to be applied to the models !
I do some work with photoshop but I don't know enough to help =( all I can do is wait..to play the mod =)
This is probably more a trueSpace thing
I used Paint Shop Pro 7 and i textured the sharlin with that....thing is we need people who know truespace 4 to first rendor us the UV maps...(the equivalent of a pencil outline) then we apply the textures to this pencil outlines. It requires knowledge of the process...and good knowledge of utilising a 2d art package like photoshop. What I did was get a sharlin that had already been converted and textured for use in the game, i then "modified" the textures using he old ones as a base for the rough positioning of the various texture bits cut and pasted the textures over the top and used my knowledge of PSP7 to making slight alterations to maximise the look.....as minbari ships look organic in a way (by this is mean not metal plating with square geometry) accuracy is not as high as other ships....this is good for me......using truespace to map metal plating texture sets is better for ships like in the earth alliance......if your interested in giving it a go let me know....i will set you a challenge and we'll see how you do
