unbelieveable!!

I have just checked out your pics page on your website of the game where the game stands right now. And all I can say is well done and damn!! I can’t believe that it is freespace 2. And the models are also unbelievable as they look so professionally done and look as though you have just been ripped them from the actual series, as they are so good lol. I have been following your progress ever since I read in pczone that a b5 mod was being made for freespace2. I have seen you go through several website names and changes in the game structure. And every time I was amazed by what I saw. If there is one thing I do know is if the mod was ever released to buy in the shops I would graciously pull out my £34.99 for it as it looks so bloody good. I do know many people are moaning about how you haven’t released a demo yet, don’t rush anything as there’s nothing I hate more, when you are really getting into a game and all of a sudden the game crashes because of some pesky little bug which was missed by mistake (all players of star trek armada and homeworld will know what I mean lol) so take as long as you need to get the mod done as I have waited this long I can wait another year or two to be able to fly the thunderbolt and whitestar. Again, well done on making such an unbelievable mod.

the nova isn't finished, the test nova is very raw, basically me playing around with a raw version to make final version conversion easier

we did have a commission system ready, get out your credit cards... just kidding of course...you should definately have something to play with in the next 4 months (like always there are no guantees but its looks promising) talk of a small earth minabri campaign is afoot once we have our first "official" release (this is being considered release 1 and not a demo) you will be able to make your missions from the offset i imagine ships will then be released as theyre made, with "offical" campaigns being done as the model types being made allows for other scenarios to be recreated.....hopefully...the begining of availablity isnt too far down the line

models you will definately see in release 1 are:

hiperion
sharlin
star fury: aurora
nial
1/2 transport shuttle
jump gate

other areas:

backgrounds
sounds
missions
some music
misc graphics (interface etc)

so there you go.......this will be the first release when it happens.........

I think he was joking, and for someone with little to no texturing experience, you did a fantastic job.
