Got a little bit more info regarding the fighter in RF thanks to Mike Breault's post:

Rotating means spinning on an axis. If they didn't mean rotating when they said "rotating," they should have said something else. You can draw three mutually orthogonal axes through the center of the ship and you can currently rotate along two of them. I guess it's the third axis, through the center of the ship from the front to back (as opposed to top to bottom and side to side) that they were looking for. When they say you can't rotate, that implies you can't rotate along any of the three axes, which is incorrect.

Anyway, the ship's got pitch, got yaw, got left/right strafing, got up/down strafing, got rotating. Banking key binding is in but not active yet, so not barrel rolls yet.

BTW, in the category of Interesting Misuses of Technology, you can also skim along the ground and run over guards with the fighter.

I'd also like to add that this info came no thanks to ivan, because he is the opposite of dope...
