Status Update #2

Hey Guys

Just a little status update from the team. We're working on balancing many of the new ships that we just got in the game over the last couple of weeks. Once again, a collection of old and new craft (and otherwise familar) put together in sometimes unique ways.

We haven't decided what were going to show and not show yet so I won't tell you guys to expect anything in that regard for a while yet.

We should have new fiction and information in the next month or so.

Well, I'm sure I speak for many when I say, we are glad to hear about progress, I truly miss the old fighters, fragging them will be a reminiscence of the past

though a beta test would be nice i was thinking of a compromise, say, bring out a stand-alone campaign of say, 4 missions long specificly for the use of balancing the blackwater campaign and to iron out any bugs.

There might be a demo but we've got enough people to do any sort of testing we need.

Posted by G-UK on 04-29-2001 06:22 PM:

so, you offer me the place testing, & no you dont need me... thanks a LOT!

I think you were included in that statement.

The question is......am I?

Posted by Mr. Fury on 04-30-2001 06:06 PM:

This is really nice...

But now there is one problem...
how in the hell I can use both B5 and BWO in my system in same time????

Hell, I guess I have to install FS2 twice on my comp.

Posted by Snipes on 04-30-2001 08:44 PM:

No... have the pofs in the vp files with the missions, and keep the tbls different, ie, if you want bwo, rename the bwo weapons to weapons, and ships to ships, and when you use b5, rename the b5 stuf to that, or make a bat file to do this easily for you. hell, I could do it in one minute (less, but you know)
