Ahm, Gamma Drac is the first sytem where the first Knossos was found remember?

Snipes, learn to be SMART for a change, its obvious. Just play the campaign a few times over again on insane level, might refresh your memory because you would have to go through every briefing 1000 times, even the training missions hahahaha. Sorry for dissing ya.

That was a pretty low blow there....

Gamma Draconis has two nodes. The second of which was maintained by the Knossos portal. The node was otherwise unstable. At least until the GTVA turned it on for a while. This completed the process and stablized the node completely. This is why the Sathanas was able to make the jump without the Knossos portal intact.

Capella is cut off from the GTVA but Gamma Draconis is still connected to Capella....although we don't know exactly what effect the supernova would have on the nodes and their stability. Not a problem for the Shivans I guess.

So, was Gamma Drac. inhabtted? And if so, would the people there be stranded, with the Shivans? Hm... sounds like a campaign idea here...

Posted by IceFire on 03-28-2001 04:23 AM:

As stated in a command briefing, Gamma Draconis is uninhabited with no planets, no resources, and no strategic positions. The only presence in Gamma Draconis was when the GTVA discovered the portal, the NTF gambit, and the Shivan invasion.

Oh.... I really don't remember the command briefs, I listened to em all in the first time around, and then I skipped through them, when I redid the ampaign several times after.

So none of the systems were inhabittted huh? Damn... Campaign Idea blown away...

Go read them sometime. There is ALWAYS stuff that you will pick up the second time through. Babylon 5 episodes require at least two viewings to get all the subtleties and thats if your good, so apply that to this too.

Nobody was left behind in Gamma Drac and even if they were, they have nowhere to go and nowhere to land.
