Another New Pic

Heya everyone.

I've decided to post another new pic. Its really just a beauty shot but it shows off the awesome work done by Dark on the Earth bitmap. He went as far as lighting up the dark side of the planet with lights, similar to those light maps from Nasa.

You know, I don't think Dark was aiming for everything to be ST like. We've had discussions and he very much likes the hard lines of the original GTF Hercules over the Herc Mark 2 which is my prefered style.

I don't know where this came from tho, I thought we were looking at a picture of Earth with some Herc Mark 2s in the picture.

I agree, the FS1 ships looked better. the new ones are radically different. they are equally good, but I like the old grey fighters...

Though I hate the Apollo, and Ulysses...

low poly? the golgotha had over 1200 polys without the turrets,
FYI most capships have less than 600+turrets.

but the detail on it is more than worth the extra polys

I thought that the apollo was rather good though i would like to get to see the apollo MKII in Arsenal of Darkness i would also like to see a website some time in the future. The Difference between the Herc and the Herc 2 are quite signifigant personally, i never liked the Loki at all. Anyone agree with me?

Me i like the loki. i like all the fighter in FS. it would be cool to see a apollo mrk 2 heheh i wonder what it would look like. oh well.

ok, moment over...

The Loki is an awesome scout fighter. Its fast and manuverable and has a decent loadout. Its a little less effective than the Serapis because of a smaller loadout but it definately serves a purpose. Its also an awesome agressor ship since its not as dangerous as a Perseus or a Herc 2.

I have a special affinity for the Loki but I realize that it is limited in its uses.

Hey dred i was wondering if you could possibly shorten your signiture or turn it off once in awhile, it's kinda annoying to see a fairly large amount of text that doesn't have anything to do with the topic.

Every fighter had it's genuine purpose i'm just saying it was a wee bit useless in silent threat, but, if you think about it, seeing a hoarde (30+) of them is downright scary. personally, i'd like too see installations that you can fly through into some internal structure that you could blow to pieces. RE: Starwars: return of the Jedi the death star II
