I'm getting hungry
Indeed, I'm getting hungry. If people start to call themselves Mr Carrot (Don't forget to eat your vegatables kids!) and sandwich I hope this isn't serious. Is this a new trend of sorts, or is it just me. Please know this isn't critizism of any sort.

I don't quite understand it either. Why nameyourself a food?
But since a moderator will see the potential for flaming on this post it'll probably be closed, so without further ado...

And:
I want chicken, I want Liver, Meowmix, Meowmix, Please Deliver.

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'
Snipes, do you purposely try to irritate admins or is it just natural?

Well, I might as well put the story behind my nick in writing. So here goes:
I'm an American living in Israel, and recently I finished my 3 years of army service. Now in Hebrew there are many words taken directly from English, such as "Ooniversitah" and "Telephone Seloolari" (university and cellular telephone).
It just so happens that sandwich is pronounced "sandvich", ie a "v" instead of a "w". But I got mixed up on that point and one day I called out in hebrew to a unit-mate who had just relieved me of guard duty if he wanted me to take him some sandwiches for lunch. Except I said "sandwich" and not "sandvich". This was overheard by some other soldiers who thought it to be pretty funny, and when later on in my service I joined the unit those other soldiers were a part of, they recognized me and called me "Sandwich", a name which stuck. It eventually mutated into things like "Sah-wich" and such, but the root stayed the same.
And so, when trying to create yet another email account to escape from the inevitable spam, I went for "sandvich@..." Sandwich was usually taken, but when spelled with a "v", it was nearly always free. And so now it's my nick in various newsgroups, as well as my email. Glad you asked?

This is all good and creative, but its definately OT. So it should probably be marked as one too. It'd probably go better under general discussion...but yeah
I don't want to be a moderator nazi, despite that fact that VW admins seem to have picked that kind of nickname up, but try and keep at least this topic specific forum on topic most of the time, thats all I can ask really.
Thanks.
