End has come

For the past 8 months I have been working on Without Remorse. We went through story changes and staff changes and I still moved it forward.
But now there are 2 reasons why WR will not happen.

1) - Staff is gone. Due to unmentionable circumstances I lost a good portion of my staff. They belonged to a squad that I felt I had to leave for reason I will not bring here. Hence they left. I still had others but real life took over for them. I still have one staff member but we cannot do this on our own.

2) - Lost interest in game. That is the main reason. I know that I could find ppl to help me. But when I no longer play the game and find it hard to work on the missions, I know it is time to move on.
I have have been making maps for Delta Force Land Warrior and that seems to be the way I am going.

I still have the missions and I probably will release some of them one at a time to Volition Archives.

Thx for all the help and I am sorry for this news.

No?

You realize almost none of the campaigns in production are ever going to see the light of day?

The only ones that will, will most likely be the large ones that everyone is depending on.

There are reasons for that. I'm not saying necessarilly in this case, but there are always alot of people announcing campaigns and the reason so few get done is because everyone tries to tackle the big one first which is what kills them because they don't have the experience and a large campaign quickly gets out of control, frusterating the creator and making them want to quit.

Start small, then work your way up. Check out Rising Star for FS1 to see what I did. Three missions, limited story, not the greatest balance or missions either.

But thats where I started.

Well I could split it up.

I have 15 missions that need a work over and that is all.

I could release them in 3 per release like a serial.

This is alot better because you get to se what is going on a little at a time.

OK, I will have the first 3 missions ready soon

Thx Icefire
