Paint Programs

K, right now I use two programs to make skins, Adobe 1.0, and Miscrosoft Photoshop. (for the stain glass look of the Vasudan ships) I was hoping you guys could tell me of a better set up to use.

Microsoft did not make Photoshop, and Adobe 1.0 means little to nothing.

Do you mean Adobe Photoshop 1.0 and Microsoft something else?

Photo Editor! Don't have to get so techincal about it.

Well it IS called ADOBE Photoshop (not just Photoshop) and since Adobe and Microsoft have little to do with each other...it was a pretty big error as these things go

Relatively speaking. They actually have a lot in common, including that both develop software and both are in the same galaxy.

My experiences with PSP7 :

It has quite many tools and is relatively confortable , but
1. color depth reduction not as good as with some standalone products .
2. when dramatically reducing brightness the program tends to mess up colors , erspecially in very bright regions.
3. I have heard Adobe Photoshop has more powerful tools to deform the image.

i use Corel draw pro

Uhhh... DH, Adobe Photoshop 1.0 is not only hard to find, it's also probably useless. <g>

Adobe Illustrator 1.0, on the other hand, saves pretty niftily compressed files (as opposed to 7.0, which saves files like 60 times bigger). It also does many of the things 7.0 can do.

There's prolly an 8.0 out by now, though.

Also umok@Adobe Photoshop's price. It's insane.

Uh... theres an Adobe illustrator 9.0 out. I have it.

Still don't know how to use it

Photoshop is good, it's not a coincidence that most companys (game devs, graphic studios) use it.

And mr.Volition himself, here, recomends it, so it must be good...

I got Werewolf from an interview with somone from [V] (probably Anoop), where he got the question if [V] employed someone from the community. But someone screwed up the names, cause apparantly they hired a guy called Werewolf, not WildWolf
