its fun for afew mins but gets boring rapidly - the best thing to do though is give you hecate the manuverabilty of a fighter then chase down some sathanus's they fall fast when you get in behind them and shoot them up

I flew a sathanis onece, it got killed right away.. no shield, and the hitpoits of a myrmadon = death by rammage...

I saw a topic on this at the VBB, so I thought maybe it'd be something to discuss here.

What is everyone's opinion of modding the capships so you can fly them? I think it'd be cool, especially if there is a way to control the beams.

why on earth did you give it the hit points of a myrmidon? - i know they dont handle quite like fighters but it is flyable

just think how many primarys you could put on the front of a hecate - couple of thousand maxim cannons should bring hull even on cap ships down pretty quick

I replaced the pof of the myrmadon with the model file of a sathanis so I could use it in a premade missio without work...

stupid myrmadons...

if you modify the hecate or somethings stats then it will fire its beams you jsut have no control over it - i thikn it tend to tagert what you tagerting but i think it will fire at other ships too

Just put player allowed, and bomber and the turrets will work, but the pof has to be editted for viewpoints, and laser points, etc...

Also, you can't have too many turrets or the ship won't work properly...

Did you make the ship have eyepoints? And primary and secondary firing points?

if you bunch of bungholios want to fly caps,you have to repace the entire profile a fighter.(e.g hercules mark 1 gone,aeolus in!)

First off, Bobbaou is NOT the only person able to make mods...

I have flown capships, and it sux

theres no point in it whatsoever... and if you put too many turrets, only about two will work...

plus it would have to be flagged as a bomber for turrets to work anyway... And the beams would have to be made player allowed.

there is alot more to it than just editting a tbl file.

so if you think,"oh anyone can do it" yer wrooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggg!!!!!!!!11
