Shivan Homeworld

Does anyone know where the Shivans live or originate from. As it is a necessity to the website and campaign im in the process of making. Thanks!

I would say like 30%, most of it is what people think happens, its all speculation. You've got to base the information on what is in FS1/2 and what info volition-inc has supplied.

So? only [v] knows what's true...

Maxim - read what Ace and I have to say. We've based our ideas and comments almost word for word whats said in the games tech rooms and other various sources.

Maybe its conjecture, but unlike 90% of the other conjecture, at least we've bothered to get the facts straight.

I was questioning some of your ideas IceFire but still I've printed out and read all articles in Fs2 5 times over and researched nearly every relation to FS2 there is and much of what is said in the other topic is speculation. If you base your ideas the way you said you did im not disputing that then OK. By the way i always have my facts straight most of the time. One question for you IceFire. Where did the ancients originate from?

As was said in the other forum several times, there is no Shivan homeworld - they do not seem to have any interest in planets at all.

BTW, most of my stuff is from what I know of Shivans offhand and reasonably logical speculation.

For once Sirius i want to know im wrong and be told by the creators of the game, Volition. They have the script or whatever they wrote after Freespace2. They will tell sooner or later.

Probably not here, though.

I don't know, I had a flaming spam E-Mail from Todd Miller yesterday replying to the Shivans thread, something about a message the V writers coded in binary:

side note: there was no flaming E-Mail from any Volition employees, but Plasma mailed me flaming toilet papper
