Custom Titles, Rosie, Barbarra, Etc.

While I don't normally post in the general discussion forum, it has been brought to my attention that things are becomming out of hand here and that some things need to be adressed.

We've encouraged people to have fun on the general discussion forum, we have not however encouraged flaming, slandering, spamming, and general mischief.

We take responsibility for precipitating the custom titles issue and we have accepted the consequences of our actions. Any unwanted titles will be removed apon notifying the Admins.

However, the admin bashing, and the Rosie O'Donnel style naming needs to stop. Anybody who continues to act in an unbecoming nature will be warned and then removed if further actions are taken.

Remember that we encourage people to have fun and do some crazy things however it needs to be in good taste.

If you do not directly "work" on Volition Watch or one of the hub sites (ie RF Watch, Summoner Watch, FS Watch, or the Archives) ... you won't get the VW "eye".

However, if you have a hosted site on our network you are eligible for a custom title to your liking (and an image as well) ... you just have to request it formally (meaning over email) to one of the admins (me, Plasma, IceFire, etc).

It doesn´t matter having an image or not.

The problem with unregulated images is that the feature can be heavily abused. I've seen it happen again and again on the Battlezone II and Dark Reign 2 forums. They've tried to keep the misuse to a tolerable level, but we're just the average students and we don't moderate the boards 24/7 and were certainly don't get paied to do it.

We'll see about accomodating a few custom images at some point in the future.

I know it's a bit tedious, but you can do what we do at Warpstorm....have a thread dedicted to picture (and perhaps title) requests. Worthy ones will get a link in the memberfile, unworthy ones won't, bad ones get their ISP banned.....

why dont the volution zone people have there own pictures (like the eye for volition watch)

Well , I'm currently decideing on what board to chose . And No , I refuse to use this BB as they refuse to allow me to =)

Either: Slanker's type BB , or UBB. I think I may use UBB because of its l33tness. BTW , I'm totally aware of its price.

VZ do not qualify for anything besides a title. That is all.
