Where can I get 'Allied Forces' from?

Allied Forces Available in VW Archives - Posted By: Ace @ 05:56 PM CST - Post Comment

Well here goes the good news:

Great News, my newest campaign Allied Forces has finally been posted at the archives. Although it's not hosted by this site, it is just as good as most of the fan made campaigns that are. Even if your not a fan of my previous works, you'll still love this campaign!

Features:
--Two new player allowed primary weapons and a modified more powerful Kayser.
--Two NEW player flyable ships and multiple new Capital ships
--42 standard missions and three hidden loop missions
--NEW ship, weapon, music, and stars tables that install the MOD, so you won't have to cut and paste in notepad.
--More briefing soundtracks added to music table
--Four new planet backgrounds
--Three new squadron logos
--FINALLY player flyable Shivan ships with weapon loadout interface graphics
--Fly multi role missions including escort, supply disruption, fleet assault, and fighter suppression
--Extensive documentation that explains in detail the characters, universe, and storyline.

From where can this campaign be obtained? I've searched the so-called 'archives' from the main menu and nothing useful was turned up.

Sid.

There was a reason I never posted that news. The guy didn't tell us where it was, or anything.

Actually the guy said he submitted it and it was on the archive. A day later I checked (too late to delete the news then) and it looks like it wasn't updated.

I'm guessing that if he did submit it like he said to me, it should be up in a few more days or whenever the archive is updated.

This campaign is listed under "The Allied Forces" in the FS2 mission archive. It was originally submitted on Jan. 1, 2002 ... updated to version 1.3 on Feb. 3, 2002.

If I remember right, this campaign was updated a couple of days after I received the update.

IMHO it's a great campaign. I loved the green pegasus fighter, can't remember it's name, began with a b. Yeah.

It was alright; a shame the far-fetched and badly written narrative in the briefings, together with the inevitable cliches in some of the missions let it down.
