Simulating Hyperspace?
Hey, I'm making a few missions using Release 2 and I was wondering how TBP planned to simulate the look of hyperspace? With a bunch of red and black nebulas filling the background?
Using a full nebula doesn't seem to cut it.
I think the plan is to use a special nebula. Maybe they could make a new subspace effect?
Hmmm... yes... but again wouldn't that depend on the SCP?

Original plan was to use the nebula. The sounds are already present...although the graphics aren't really very good at this point. You could always try and change that...

What about 2 huge rotating cylinders with the textures applied? Make it untargettable, and so you can't collide in it... Wouldn't that work?

Isn't there a way to bring more red into the nebula.
I never tryed a nebula in FRED2 so far, but I'm shure theres a way to make more red, or make the red brighter.
