Level 1 Help

Just installed the release 2, but for some reason i dont have any weapons of any kind int he first mission.

Ive installed the latest patch, very confused help

It was a clean install. I had to install freespace first, then before i ran it i installed the patch, so it is a new pilot, and the campaign is selected by default, ill give it another try.

Try the workaround and play the missions as single missions through the tech room. There was a problem with mission 1 not being completable anyway so you're going to have to install the work around to play mission 2 anyway.

Whats the work around? Do you mean just play it via single missions or is there another patch?

Workaround is the name of the program that lets you play the missions from the tech room, rather than as part of the main campaign. The reason it's needed is because there is a bug in the MISTS OF FIRE mission (the 1st campaign mission) that makes it impossible to finish if you play it in Campaign mode.
