Heya

Can someone give me a good shot of some big ship in Freespace? Im gonna try to make a level of it and send it too you, so you can see what i can do

Ill just search around on the web till i find any otherwise.

This is a slow board. What sort of angle do you want it from? I'm assuming youdon't have FS, in which case you could use FRED or MODELVIEW to get the shots.

Well..

Well, i have the demo of it... Freespace 1 and Freespace 2... But if i remember correctly, there werent that many different big ships on those demos...

Anyway, what was those programs you mentioned? Hmmm gotta look into them perhaps.

FRED is the FReespace mission EDitor (hence FRED). You could use it to take screenshots of FS ships, but you need a full copy of the game to get it. It might work with the demo, but you would need to aquire it illegally (as it ships only with a full copy of the game) and the admins have already said not to do that. Instead, go buy Freespace! Now!

Modleview32 is another FS program which (surprise suprise) views models form the game. This should work with the demo also.

There weren't that many big ships in FS. In the TV war there were 3 terran and 2 vasudan capital ships (that we know of) The Terrans had the Orion, the Leviathan and the Fenris (which both looked the same), and the Vasudans had the Typhon and the Aten. There was also the Terran installation (space station) Arcadia, and the Faustus Science cruiser

Yeah, Interplay is selling the game for so cheap right now, you could probably find enough change in your couch to buy both games.
