Dramatic FPS change

Whenever I look at the Ganymede docking ring, my FPS dropps to about one or two. When I look away, its fine. I have an uber computer and can run any game....I can have over a dozen sathani in Fred2....and I was wondering if the Ganymede station has a problem with FPS, or with anyone else.

Everyone has that. I think its either the poly count, normal count, or the live debris.

I mean, I dont THINK it did this a while ago, but I dont know.

When I look at 4 rings from a distance, its choppy. When I am close enough to make a lock with a cyclops, and there is an iceni inside, I just plummet to 1 fps or less.....

I had a problem similsr to that with one of the wing commander mod ships. The behemoth but that was most probably the ship having some strange issues. It was probably buggy.
