FreeSpace: FS3 + Outrage?

Posted by IceFire:

I read this post by Wolf in Shivans Clothing on the VBB:

I read this months pc gamer and it had an article about thq volition buy out etc and it said that outrage were being widely tipped to create a sequel to fs2 now this should be interesting as it only speculation/rumour but could outrage do as good a job as volition?

This raises an interesting issue. Im still waiting for my issue of PCGamer to arrive so I'll post what I discover when I get it.

The VWBB has 1000 hippypower and does Zero to Off-topic in 1.9 seconds...1.2 seconds better than the VBB

Look at it this way....if the rumor is true...it'd be better to have Volitions sister company do the game than anyone else.

That way, V still may have some kind of influence on the project.

Speaking of, now that Volition is no longer an independent company, are they still Outrage's sister company?

It was never official....was it?

They are just "friends"

Well this is a mixed blessing. On the plus side, there is now hope for an FS3. On the downside, it might not be made by [V]

I hope there is more news on this so it can become clearer
