Lightbulb Updated nebula.lst and suns.lst for FS2MBU

I just made a trial run on a mission, and it looks outstanding. If the TBP staffers would like me to, I can zip the two files and e-mail them to you, unless you've thought of this and have them altered already...

Anyways, if anyone wishes to host this file, I'll be glad to send it to you. Note that you _must_ have Kazan's Freespace2 Mission Background Utility for these files to be useful.

Red face

I never liked the Background generator. The only good thing with it is that you can copy the background from one mission to another...

But when generating a background. It never makes them what you like them to be... I'd prefer manually placing the whole damn thing...

Just remember that planets, comets, and the gas nebula all have to be placed manually.

I agree... but the background copying tool is more useful than I first thought... and the generator allows you to make a BG quickly if you're making screenshots or something.

The background generator will never do as good a job as an artist placing things manually. On the other hand it does let you get a reasonable looking background into a mission very easily. It's especially useful if you edit the data files to only include the nebulae you want in your background. Allowing you to give your backgrounds a consistent theme.

Please copy the files to I.P.Andrews@dcs.hull.ac.uk . Thx.
