I was hungover and I didn't feel like dealing with the hundreds (dozens, er three) of emails I'd get if I made it more realistic.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm back at the airport picking up a friend (again) and his flight just got delayed until 1:10 am. I don't feel like leaving so I'm stuck at this God Forsaken airport hellhole for at least two more hours. **** **** **** **** ****.

I hope the profanity sensors pick that up.

Red Faction Watch: Red Faction Delayed Until 2003

Posted by Dynamo:

I got an email today from THQ stating that Red Faction would be delayed until December of 2003 due to problems with the Geomod engine. The press release states:

Due to unforseen circumstances, we've decided to postpone the release of Red Faction in order to take advantage of the Voodoo 7 card and the Sega Saturn. We feel that these new pieces of hardware will take our game to a higher level and ultimatly deliver a better product. We would like to thank the Red Faction community for being so patient with us.

Also, the press release states that due to programming difficulties the game will no longer be released on the Playstation 2 platform or on the Macintosh. Instead, a Saturn and Linux port will replace the two mediums. More info will be posted as we receive it.

You bring your laptop when you go to pick someone up from the airport?
