some screenshots
Here's a link to some screenshots of mine showing off the Nova's new weapons. These seem more true to the large orangish pulses seen in a few scenes from "In the Beginning." I prefer this look to the smaller blue ones the Nova originally came with. No matter how hard I look I can't see any blue pulses coming from a Nova during "In the Beginning." Also, I used some different sound effects for the pulses. Here it's the sound of the Alexander's and Churchill's interceptors as seen in "Severed Dreams." Currently am working on a smaller version of these pulses with different sounds for use on my own Midwinter.

got that idea from "ITB." Just before a Nova rams that Sharlin a dinky Nial is hit from another Nova's battery. The bolt is like 10 times the size of the Nial and somehow it survives long enough to spin out of control and whack into the Nova, just before the Nova whacks into the Sharlin. Insanity.....
are you saying that we actually see a nial get destroyed in ITB!
i'll have to have a look

I think it's a Nial, just before the Nova rams the Sharlin. It's a really fast mover whatever it is and it runs into the Nova. Just look for a little fireball on the Nova near one of its turrets. Havta look in slow motion though, it's really hard to catch
Yeah, those orange blasts look better coming from the Novas. I've only seen the blue blasts coming from a Hyperion in the show. Blue blasts coming from a Nova just make it look wimpy, IMHO.
