B5 on DVD!

YES! B5 is being released around Dec. 4th, on DVD. At least this is what Amazon.Com states. I just thought I'd pass it along

do you know by chance if is limited to certain areas of the globe?
I hpe it getts here in this little corner of europe.

The DVD is encoded for region 1 as far as I can remember. Not sure if Europe is included with that. But if you have a DVD player on your computer, it should be able to play it. (I don't think Region 1 is just NTSC, which is the broadcasting standard for the states, but I could be wrong) about.com is where I got the news from, they have a website designated entirely to B5. That's where I got the URL for this place actually

And on a side note, September 24th is the release of the first season of the simpsons on DVD!

Sorry, I just rechecked and region 1 encoding is for US and Canada only. But that should still work in a DVD ROM.

I am currently checking Amazon.com's UK site to see if they will have a UK DVD version as well...

and so far looks like nothing for the UK. let me try germany's site.... ACH! Es ist nur im Deutsch! Es tut mir leid, aber ins Deustchland es kommt nicht. And yes I know my german is very bad.


Well for now it's only coming to the US and Canada, but later we might see it pop up elswhere.

U can get a chipped DVD player for around the same price as a regular one.. and chipping them is legal.

You can also get cracks for software DVD playback programs like PowerDVD that allow you to select whatever region disc you want to play.

I don't need the crack, but I know it's out there....
