Are you going to use real nebulae pics as background pics in the MOD? At least in the screenshots you've used a star birth nebulae pic...
so here's a link, there you can find nice pics of nebulae, stars, galaxies and so on, dunno if you already have all the backgrounds you need, just thought this might be useful...

Right, they are nice pics... There's only one thing stading on the way (maybe even blocking it ) of using them: our old friend named Copyright. It ain't cheap to buy the rights for those pics (they probably won't give those for free, all that an American can see is $$$ , and if they are used without permission... No one wants to think about it), but at least I'm willing to pay a few follars for them... If we all in here are we might see them ingame!

You might want to check the copyright notice on those pics...

Well, I was not completely wrong... You really DO have to be careful with those pics, they said something about "any content that is not made by STScI": those individuals might claim copyright. Besides they are asking for appropriate acknowledgement (who makes up these words? ) and (voluntary) reporting of all use. Still, they might even kinda like the idea of getting their pics in the background of a famous games even more famous MOD , who knows.

backgrounds are basically covered, only 1 nasa picture is used of a gas giant, rest are repearmans. edited by me for use in the game, planets, are mostly mine, some from other sources...they are freely available to look at here.....

note this is v1.0 i will be updating this soon to v1.1 (new planets and a few of the nebulas removed/improved)

not much will change i just want to include more familar planets, centuri prome recreation is there, as is mars, earth, moon, jupiter, saturn, i want background on minbar and other important worlds seen in b5, if people can post links to pictures of the planets i would REALLY appreciate it as i dont know what many of them look like, thanks guys, this is how you can help my part of the mod
