Aaaaaaaaargh! Dammit!!

I can't get a higher resolution than 640x480 in FS2, I'm running a P3 450 mhz with 96 megs of RAM and a 32meg Voodoo4 with the most recent drivers I could find. FS2 is already at v1.2, and I've installed the high res artwork, for both FS2 and TBP. any help would be appreciated.

Did you run the setup option when you first start freespace? Make it detect your video card (this should be a new install of the base freespace) and demand 1024x768.

this happened to me as well, it only offers 640x480, and I run almost everything else at 1024x768 (I used to run fs2 at that resolution as well)

Okay, I got inspired to look at the registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MAHINE\SOFTWARE\Volition\FreeSpace2

Theres a resoltuion potion here, but it looks like it might just be a comment thing, only one way to find out... brb (hopefully)

EDIT: Damn, no effect.

Okay, I got it!

I'm not sure which one of these did it, but I installed FS2's high res artwork, and also set the resolution to 1024x768 before I installed the mod.
