E.T.A. of DEMO

If there is anyone who somehow feels the desire to experience something of exceptional intensity , let me tell you that the voiceacting is complete ( unless NEVER-SATISFIED-BLACKSHEEP doesnt want rerecordings ).
Last files need treatment. I think Blacksheep can do this tomorrow .
In 2 days I will have finished the CommPack.
Then Ice and Darkblade can implement speech and anis ( shouldnt take much time )
Well , I wonder if they have already made the briefings with our briefing anis ( they were rather .... unprofessional )
Well , then IceFire has to make some minor things like INTEL room and applying COMMAND BRIEFING anis ( hasnt been done yet. This is a 1 minute job )

And then we are finished. If there are no hickups I think the demo can be there at WEEKEND . If there are ( come one , we always have hickups ) then somewhen next week.

BTW. I usually complain about things... Don't you think E.T.C would be better than E.T.A...?

Sizes

We're pretty close to final on everything for this release and I thought some close estimates on the final sizes of things would be interesting to most of you so here goes.

Music 38.4mb
Sound Effects 9.1mb
Background Effects 5.5mb
Inteface 20.6mb
Comm Animations 12.1mb
Models and Textures 8.3mb

So in total its 94mb. Its quite a bit of a download, but there are a couple things to keep in mind:

1) We will be distributing in the most tighly packed compression format we can use.
2) Avenger's launcher will allow for built in file resuming.
3) Most of those are optional downloads that aren't truly needed to operate the demo (although probably msot of you will want to have it anyways)

Please note that while I did provide exact numbers there, I expect the numbers will change and fluctuate a bit between now and when we release. But at least you can tell its close

We're getting exam week results on thursday... And now TBP preview on that same 'to be waited for'- list. This is just one hell for me. Now I can't even eat. I wasn't able to sleep very much before this, now I'll maybe starve... No, I must hang on for a few more days. I guess I must now start full-day meditation to get over this. No more genetics... No philosophy... No analytic geometry... No geography... No history... The teachers won't notice, will they? For them it's enough to be physically present. That's what I'll do. Cya.
