Yes they are far away... But my point is they are too far away from each other... Well at least when you look the series and the picture... comparing them and you see the difference... Or it's just my silly memory or it's the LASOL what I just drank at the party...

your wrong again, see the gate model has only one of the 'arms'
the others were placed far away but could be much closer, its up to the mission designer in FRED2 to decide the distance.

Well the picture/mission designer should of placed the arms little bit closer

And why aren't they're a fully modelled jumpgate? Only these arms... It could be done. Example Knossos without moving parts, then it would look like an hyperspacegate...
