Hey, Ice, since you seem to be the spokesperson for the BWO staff, answer me this...

It was said that Sol's defensive forces would not have beam weaponry, right? Maybe not said by you but by someone.

Well, I was watching the FS1 engame movie (I mveextracted it a while ago...) and when the Lucifer blew up, the tips of the arms, where the Big Shivan 'beams' were, did not get destroyed. The nose and the top of the 'arms' managed to survive the exploding of the 'head'.

Sol can have beams, by either direct adaptation, or by reverse engineering the turretry. No?

Its not that they don't have beams, they have a few beams, but regardless of whatever they managed to salvage off the Lucifer, we wanted to make the Sol forces significantly different than the GTVA forces. For this reason there are a minimal number of beams.

You'll see just how we've accomplished this later .
