Dave - burst turrets
Is there an easy way to fix 'swarm' weapons so they can fire like normal turrets? Perhaps make a new tag called 'burst' that's functionally similar but is designed for primaries?
One of the things I've been after for the longest time is burst-firing turret guns. It's been a tricky subject, and they don't work for one-part turrets, and are pretty iffy even with two-parters. (they don't shoot AT the target) It seems to be a problem with not recognizing that the turret actually has cone of fire, instead they simply fire on the normal. Which is a bummer.
Anyhow, would this be possible-easy or possible-hard?

Dave - burst turrets

Er. I'd have to go with possible-i-dunno. Probably leaning towards possible-tricky. The details of all that stuff are pretty hazy at the moment.

on a similar note, what about a tag that tells a turret to fire the weapon as fast as it can instead of one bolt at a time? Vadar created a weapon for me that was designed to look like modern day heavy machinegun fire, but the turrets that are supposed to fire it in streams instead fire it one shot at a time.

You can make new muzzle flashes you know.... making an animated glow instead of an explosion would be the hard/long part.

Looking at B5 CGI, they have flashes for everything. Beams, pulses, and rubber duckys (probably not that last one).
