Xill class vs. Omega

If a Xill class ship of the Xill were pitted against an EA Omega, Which would win? Note that the Xill has no fighters, no turret guns, but is faster and more maneuverable than an omega. Also the bottom mounted guns are pretty strong.

I meant to say the Xill class ship of the Vree Conglomerate. You know, the saucers that shoot the green lasers out of the bottoms. COOL SHIPS!

Lots of VS. topics today eh? Well, I have no access to this AoG stuff I've heard all about, but I'd give it to the Omega for the most part, just because I like the Earth Alliance so much.

While the Xill's weapon looks very nice, I think I read that it's mostly an anti-fighter weapon, so while it would probably damage the Omega, it probably wouldn't deliver any killing blows. The phalanx pods on the Omega can aim pretty quickly, and can probably do a lot more to the Xill than the Xill's weapon can do to the Omega. Of course this is all speculation on my part. Go Omega!

i wouldnt bet on that, ive seen xill class ships cut through a number of shadow ships.

so long as it could get above the omega bvefore taking to much damage i rekon it would rip it apart.

Yes, but they only ripping through the Shadow fighters. As powerful at the lil spitfires may be, that's not quite the same as ripping through a battlecrab. As we have seen, a sustained burst from a Thunderbolt can rip through even a Vorlon fighter too, but a squadron of Thunderbolts would have a pretty hard time taking out an Omega on their own.

Yeah....the Thunderbolt really gave it to that Vorlon fighter. Which is why I hold the feeling that First One ships are strong and powerful and whatnot....but not anywhere near invincible. Throw enough energy their way and they will explode or die or shrivel up.
