Don't take this to serious, its just a pic I have made while I was trying to make a beam effect.

Damm that was hard I hope I have got it spoken right.

Btw what is a "High voltage war comic" ???? and I have never seen Peras Omega X. So what shows his/her pic?.

->Pera
Hey its just a joke. But if you want to know what it is exactly look at the Armageddon posts.

->Missiles. Yes, that would look good. Maybe I can make some next time, but at the moment I have something more importent to do. Writing 5 clauses in 2weeks.

1. No you didn't but quite close anyway

2. It's a finnish age-old ww2 comic.

3. My Nova-X can bee seen in Lady Roses Earth Minibari war campaign. It's a Nova with every turret armed with an Omega-X style beam.

Voi Luoja, taas se alkaa. = Oh my God, it starts again.

I just would like to get a sound morpher to put that Vorlon style . Does anyone know the correct settings for SB Live? Guess how many times I've tried You know, with SB Live! you can make Nylon Beat sing like Barry White, but that's really the only way you can listen to them when sober... Wonder if you can make Celine Dion sound like a Vorlon... That'd be more than funny (raping my sister's favourites, I mean ).

AFAIK, Kosh sounded simply like the guy's voice, with a slight echo and a sound effect overlayed.

And I meant - Why the picture of the dog? OT or what?

I always thought Kosh sounded like an asthmatic playing with a helium-filled balloon. It would explain all of the dramatic pauses before he spoke.

(hmm... maybe that's why he wore that bulky costume - so you wouldn't see the balloon.)

I reckon I'm on to something here.

helium?? his voice wasn't high pitched.. it was just an actor talking slowly, echoed with a respirator and some other sound effects overlayed.. nothing special (like the daleks, for example)

Pah! You obviously weren't watching the episodes properly!

Just think about it and it all makes sense. Every time Sheridan or whoever talks to Kosh there is a noticeable pause. This is obviously because Kosh is taking a quick hit of helium from the balloon. You can't see his arms moving because his outfit is so bulky. Also, he only talks in short, quick sentences, because everyone knows that helium only affects your vocal chords for a couple of seconds before your voice reverts to it's real sound. I reckon if Kosh carried on speaking for a few seconds longer, his voice would drop to it's original Barry White bass. The fact that his short sentences sound profound is just mere coincidence. He keeps extra balloons under his outfit, in case of emergencies and they help to keep it buoyant - hence the floating effect when Kosh is walking.

Of course he ran into a few problems, in the episode entitled "Interludes and Examinations", when his quarters were raided by a pack of maurauding Shadows, who proceeded to burst his entire supply of helium balloons with their sharp pincers and force him to fake his own death and throw Sheridan off the trail by using that dream sequence where he pretended to be Sheridan's dad and spouted all that nonsense about Sheridan not blaming himself (in fact, I bet Kosh was actually Sheridan's dad just keeping an eye on his boy - but I digress). Then it's a simple matter of buggering off to his ship, nipping out to the shops to buy a new supply of helium balloons and then showing up in the same ship and a completely different outfit, while speaking with exactly the same voice and insisting that everyone call him Kosh.

It's very subtle, but it's there in the script-writing, if you look for it.

Whee!

Kosh and other Vorlons breath a methan, right? I really like that helium idea, but what if that noice is caused by methan? And I think that we all have some faith in Kosh, even if some of us are shadows (like me), after all he is Merlin.

And that other "Kosh" has sligthly different voice if you listen very carefully you can hear it or am I only one who can hear it?
