BWO Plot Speculation (time for some fun) Warning: Demo Spoilers within

Now that we've seen the Scion of Vasuda battle against the GTVA, what sort of ideas does everyone have of the main BWO plot?

Many Vasudans after seeing the horrors of the NTF war staying loyal, seeing Ahmose as another genocidal maniac? Or is the SoV simply a symptom of a larger problem, like a bald Picard clone or Bosch beer withdrawals?

Well actually I kind of expected this plot to happen. You need a replacment for the NTF (secondary story), and you can't use HOL anymore because we pushed the bastards in FS1 and Silent Threat (as much to my recollection).

Naturally it'd be a dissapointance if SoV was what it appears to be, so I think it's much biggah then what it is now.

Also it was a nice reason to drive Vasudans out of the Charon project

I have a feeling Ahmose is after power (overthrowing the Khonsu line?), and possibly a second TV war... although like BlackDove that sounds a bit too simple so there's probably something deeper going on here.

In the HOL rebellion all the Thoth making plants in Altair defected to the HOL. I wonder if any vasudan construction plants/cpmpanys will defect to the SoV...

...oh and aside from the Tauret I hate Vasudan ships, so taking them out was quite enjoyable

These rebellions from either Terrans or Vasudans are starting quite often. It's a mirackle that the GTVA stays united despite all attempts to dissolve it. First the HoL, then the GTI, then some more HoL terrorist acts and then the NTF rebellion and now the SoV. Really the GTVA is just tought to be democratick and is really a dictature controlled by an advanced A.I. initially developed to be a new firecontrol system for Terran and Vasudan destroyers

People are always making grabs for power and all of those events and uprisings take place over 45 or 50 years time. Look how many "publicised" wars we've had in the last 15. Gulf War, Bosnia, Afganistan, potentially Iraq...and although more remote, potentially North Korea (if they continue to take a dinner fork and stick it in everyone elses eyes).

Why do all the rebel groups have three letter acronyms.
NTF, SoV, GTI, HOL?

Isn't it also funny how GTVI just happened to also let Bosch pull most of what he did in FS2?

Are we talking before or after the player found out about ETAK. Because if I were in the GTVI's shoes I'd have let Bosch escape if it meant at a later date gaining something of great potential. If they cut the head off the serpent in Deneb (by destroying the Iceni) they probably would've lost the ETAK project. They could've tried capturing it though although I suspect Bosch probably wouldn't want to be taken alive.

In any case if Bosch died or was captured alive in Deneb either:

1) The NTF would collapse,
2) Someone would take over Bosch's role as the leader although that person may not have known so much about what Bosch wanted with the Shivans...

After the SOC missions in Polaris and Sirus if the GTVI should've attempted to capture the Iceni when it was fleeing to Gamma Draconis. I'm sure they would've had enough of their agents infilltrated within NTF ranks to attempt it. Having said that I'm sure the GTVI will have vasudan agents within the SoV now.
