Need Help

Hmm - whenever i want a Minbari fleet to destroy a EA-Fleet, the Minbari fleet doesn't shoot and is therefore killed by the EA-Fleet (after about 30 minutes =D )

what to do?

(i used initial orders)

Make a sexp thing with Free Beams All and Free Turrets All for the Minbari fleet. If that doesn't work, then I don't know how to fix it.

ok, you're right in telling me to read the walkthrough but - the walkthrough takes a long time to read, and i just wanted these beam weapons working. I asked here, and within 5 minutes i had an answer... ;p

being lazy's still not an excuse. That walkthrough teaches you quite a few tricks, plus, consider how many times we've heard that question. You're just lucky most people who read TBP's forum are nice.

Doing the Freespace 2 tutorial that comes with Fred works equally well (using the TBP files/ships or not) because the tutorial is all about learning the functions of the sexps and object placements and timings. A couple of hours practice and you should be able to create your own missions. It's practice that makes perfect and you are never going to become competent at mission making without actually doing it. Lady Rose's tutorial is also excellent and of course specific for TBP so you actually get a working mission at the end of it
